5 Things To Watch Out For In Doctor Who: Redacted

Doctor Who: Redacted is the first spinoff since Class in 2016 and unlike this fellow counterparts, it’s a podcast. It’s all about Cleo, Abby and Shauna who run a podcast and attempt to solve a mystery. It’s also including Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor, her first role since she finished filming in October 2021 and a few familiar faces from Doctor Who.

Here are 5 things to watch out for…

1. Jodie Whittaker

I have been huge fan of Jodie and I am glad we get more of her before she leaves in the centenary.

2. Trans lead

Charlie Craggs will create history as first Doctor Who trans lead. I see this as a huge win for the trans communities. It’s something I have been wanting for a bit now and now it’s happens shows that Doctor Who is moving on and I feel Charlie will do a great job as Cleo Proctor

3. Juno Dawson

Juno is experienced worker in Who. She has written a few novels and is representing the Trans community too. She is perfect for this series as she can bring Cleo to life

4.Returning Characters

There are familiar faces from the recently return Kate Stewart to her colleagues Osgood. Also, Rani Chandra from Sarah Jane’s Gang, Larry Nighengale from blink and Madame Vastra, now voiced by Doon Mackichan from Two Doors Down will also return. Lois Chimbaba fromTeh Tsungara Condundrum will play Abby McPhail.

5. Diversity

The podcast is largely diverse. Not only we have trans representation, there is also LGTBQ + with Shawna Thompson and Abby McPhail. Plus, a variety of writers from Ajoke Ibironke to Ken Cheng.

What do you think we should watch out for?
