Why I love Doctor Who and what it means to me

I might have watched a bit of the Christopher Eccleston era in 2005 but I started watching it in 2006 when David Tennant played him. I saw it a magazine and remembered Billie Piper so I watched New Earth and haven’t missed an ep except The Empress of Mars as I couldn’t get BBC One and I couldn’t stand the character of Catchlove but I have watched previews so don’t worry. It has happened before but I watched it but I maybe will one day. I am up to date and have watched the Series 10 finale which I question, should Bill Potts have been killed off and not been brought back? But I do criticise cause I do see tiny errors and mistakes with character exits or should that person return?

I may not only watch the current era, I am also a classic Who fan too as from previous posts. I am a huge fan of the original line up because they rock I can relate to Twelve and Clara who I love so much. My first classic Who I watched was the Time Warrior which saw fan favourite Sarah Jane Smith being introduced.

I am a huge fan of Alex Kingston’s character River Song because she comes in and delivers every episode she has been in. She is in my favourite scene ever when she and Twelve got to Darillium but I will explain that in a few days time.

I am a huge fan of our departing Doctor Peter Capaldi. I may have been harsh but by Mummy on the Orient Express, he wins me over cause, he knows that he has to do something which nearly cause him and Clara to have another argument but she soon learns that he only did it to stop Gus from finding out he would be the next Victim and saves the rest of the gang after Gus try to kill everybody. Then I became one of his fans. I will miss him as I have been emotional.

Change is one of the best things of Doctor Who as we have different cast members through every season. I am a big fan of the upcoming change as I can relate to our first female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker. I am super excited to see her in a few weeks time. This is a risk but also having 3 companions too is a risk. But look what happened at Missy. This is why I love Doctor Who.

DoctorWho means a lot to me as I love watching and reading stuff from this 64 year programme and it makes me happy. It helps me when I am feeling down.
