WHAT? – The Timeless Children Review (DWWW Takeover)

PEOPLE ARE GOING MAD AGAIN! CALM DOWN AND GET A GRIP! Yeah but on the plus side, they’re misfortune is other fortune. THAT’S RIGHT! More female Doctor and they are CHILDREN!

I will admit that I have no issues with canonicity. On the plus side, it’s still Doctor Who and I think it works better as a mystery and it helps make sense. The Doctor’s story is like her early beginnings being experimented, having her memory wiped me feel angry for her and that’s a good sign. People will criticise Chris Chibnall, i will praise him because its made me love the show and appreciate that as a women, there is representation in there and also others being represented as well making it a win win situation.

Let’s take abut the women herself, Jodie Whittaker. WHAT CAN’T MY GIRL DO? I definitely her this time and this is a good sign and maybe that’s what I haven’t felt with others on different tastes which is understandable. I felt emotional and the way she suffered through and now i have to wait makes me want to protect her a lot. Free 13 NOW AND DO IT SNAPPY!

I feel the companions do get a lot of hate but I love all 3 so I sometimes might get way worked up about criticism. I really enjoy Yasmin Khan more than I have and this for numerous reasons and that’s good. Like Clara, I think they should have done this way earlier if I am going to be picky. Mandip Gill has probably elevated from borderline Top 5 to Top 3 and this is a good sign. Mandip had a lot to do in this ep and I think Yaz is emotional about what she witnessed but is she in love? I don’t know but I rather have an answer than assuming it’s canon before it ends up canon. Ryan Sinclair overcome his Dyspraxia to kill several cybermen was probably one of the best thing as I reflect back to Spyfall Part 1 when he missed the Basketball hoop when throwing the ball. Graham was comedy gold as usual.

The villains were once agin Master and Cybermen, SIGH, THIS IS THE 3RD TIME! HOWEVER…

It’s DIFFERENT and a NEW concept. I do feel it’s get REPETITIVE, the same way with the Daleks and presumably the same thing in the special. YOU DON’T NEED TO USE OLD VILLAINS EVERY TIME! DO SOMETHING NEW AND BOLD AND RISKY! However, I find the two new cybermen BOLD and RISKY and I think Ray Holman did a great job of it and they are more scarier. I like the time lords being converted into a cyberlords and them being regenerated back into gear making them unstoppable and their defat is unusual but it worked. Sacha Dhawan is the Master and should be proud of himself as this was a class performance.

THE CLIFFHANGER…..WELL… I

AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT BUT…. I

IT LINKS BACK TO FUGITIVE OF THE JUDOON AND WE THOUGHT THEY WON’T BOTHER HER AGAIN BUT WE WERE WRONG, WHY GO FOR HER AGAIN BUT NOT IN THEIR BODY WHERE THEY SCARED OF THE DOCTOR IN THAT INCARNATION. NOT THE BEST MOVE JUDOON AS IT MKES THEM LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SCARED AND THEY ARE MEANT TO BE SPACE POLICE  BUT I DO EXPECT TO BE PROVING WORKNG NEXT EP. MY ONLY ISSUES IF SHE IS STUCK TERE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE EPISODE BUT IT WAS OK TO SET UP A PLOT.

Leigh’s Question

Will the Doctor escape the Prison?

She will but who will rescue her or will she break out herself?

Great finish to S12 as this is my favourite series of the show and a good cast effort.

Score: 10/10
